   Painter, draughtsman, illustrator, printmaker, and art teacher. He studied at the Hochschule fur bildenden Kunste in Berlin. Member of the Berlin Secession. His erotic work is characterized by social criticism, as he depicted the manners and mores of a proletarian world of maids, procurers, tramps, etc.
